Police News An arrest on a warrant for reckless driving began a chain reaction of arrests for Clyde Cole, of South Bend on Aug 28. After being arrested on the warrant, he was ticketed also for not having a driver's license. After paying two fines and court costs on both charges totaling- $55.50, he was taken to South Bend by the State Police where two more charges weie awaiting him, including no registration for the car. Robert Erdelyl, route 1. was arrested for improper mufflers on his car. He paid a fine and ♦ os s totaling $22.75 and ordered to quiet down the mufflers. Terry Walter. Cuba r. had been arrested on Aug. 25 for driving without a valid license and Ids case came to court over the week end ending in a fine and costs amounting to $22.75. Bernard Boyle, Burlington, Wise, was arrested for passing on a double yellow line on Aug. 26. He posted bond of S2O and the case has not been tried in court to date. Ivan Amor. North Liberty, was arrested for disregarding a stop sign on Aug. 27. He paid a fine of $2.00 in cafeteria court. J B.
