Miss Edna Dipert of Chicago spent Christmas and the week end with her parents, Mr. aud Mrs. J. P. Dipert. Mrs. Josephine Uncapher and son. Elmer, spent Christmas with the W. R. Richey family in North Judson. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Richey spent I Christmas and the week end with 1 the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gumbert, Sr. A telephone message was received Sunday morning announcing the death of Cornelius Klingaman at the home of his son, Harry, in North Judson, that morning at 5:15 o'clock. Mr. Klingaman had been in poor health for nearly a year but was able to be about until about two weeks ago when he took his ted. He was born in Starke Co.. Ohio; 73 years ago last March. When but a young boy he came to Indiana and settled near Lakeville, St. Joseph Co., here he grew to manhood, at tending to the farm Work for his father who was a cripple, and at odd times working at the Kneipp and Houser saw mill. In the early eighties , he was united in marriage to Miss , Catherine Stickler who preceded him in death about twelve years ago. Mr. Klingaman with his family had resided in Grovertown for nearly forty I jears. He was industrious, genial, i kind and unassuming and was much I respected by all. He leaves two sons ■ Vernon, of Grovertown. and Harry of North Judson, and one grand I child, and a brother, Joseph, of Walkerton, to mourn his passing, j Funeral services were conducted by i Rev. Frank Myers of Donaldson, in the U. B. church in this place, Tuesday afternoon. Burial was in Locust ' Grove cemetery. LONESOME TRAIL . Harold Holland spent Christmas i with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. I Harry Holland. Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Goit and daughters and Mrs. Wm. Bellinger spent Xmas day with Fred Bellinger and family.
