Finch of near North Liberty spent Sunday in South Bend, with Raymond Finch and family. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Reece and son spent Sunday with Delbert Divine and family. Mr. and Mrs. John Richardson and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Hostetler and daughter of South Bend spent Sunday at the Ed Lambert home. Miss Thelma Snyder attended the Homecoming week-end at Purdue University. Otto Schmeltz and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Walter spent Sunday at the M. Roscoe says it will be some hunting dog. Christ Tinkey and son, Harold of Dowagiac, Mich., called on Renry Wanamaker and family Friday evening. They broyght Henry eight bushels of fine anples. SHILOH Mr. and Mrs. Fleyd Gardner and son spent Sunday at the J. A. Gardner home, Brenton Ross and family motrored to Southh Bend Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. John Freed and sons called at Ritzman’'s Sunday alternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Legrand Lotz and daughter, Fern, spent Monday at Plymouth. They were guests of Frank Head and family. Guests at the Ballnger home Sunday were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ballinger and children of Hamlet, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Mullett. Mr. and Mrs. Ransom Holderead and family of Lakeville spent Saturday at Levi R. Miller’s. Dewey Rowe and family motored to Middlebury Friday. Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Burke visited the Elden Burke home in Chicago Friday. Mrs. Burke and daughter came home with them. Miss Fern Lotz called at the SKinner home Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Winnel and daughters, of Tyner, John Miser and family of Hamlet were guest it the Spaid home Friday. Miss Lila Mullett, small daughter of Mr. and Mrs J. W. Mullet, is quite ill with a very bad cold Mrs. John Detwiler who has been spending a few days at the Guy Ros home, returned to her home in South Bend Fridav. Mrs. Ross accompanied her and returned Saturday evening. Mrs. Wim. Reynolds of Meesie, Mich., is visiting the Miller home. Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Brown and children of New Carlisle, Alva Spaid and Albert Tinkey of Walkerton spent Sunday at Del Spaid’s.
