Jesse Cripe and family of South Bend and Claude Cripe and family of North Liberty weie visitors Sunday afternoon. This was a time when six indviduals rode in the side car of a motorcycle. Claude Roush and family were callers on John Arnold Sunday afternoon. John Smith and family spent Sunday afternoon with Norman Sponseller. Harvey Woods and family of Sumption Prairie and Raymond Hardman of South Bend were Sunday visitors with Russell Fair and family. Clifton Bernhardt motored to LaCrosse Saturday to visit over Sunday with his many friends. J. Beiler and wife and W. E. Schaulin and family motored to Stillwell for a joy ride Sundaj afternoon. A surprise party was given in honor of Miss Bernice Bernhardt’s Bth birthday by a number of her young friends Monday. A splendid time was enjoyed by the youngsters. 14 being present. Quite a number from here attended the Memorial Day services in North Liberty Tuesday. S. J. Stofer is regaining his health. Mrs. Ed. Wharton accompanied Lawrence Ligett and family to Ft. Wayne last Saturday. They returned home Tuesday. Helen and Elnora Geyer spent a few days this week with their aunt,, Mrs. John Schrader. Maynard Robertson is employed in South Bend.
