ULSTER PARLIAMENT OPENS Forty Unionists Take Seats—Sinn Feiners and Nationalists Faail to Attend—Three Men Convicted of Murder Executed. Cork, Ireland, June 8. —Crown forces captured more than 100 members of the Irish republican army in Mill street at night, after a battle In which three Sinn Feiners were killed and 12 wounded. The casualties to^the crown forces, it is stated, were slight. The crown forces were conducting an encircling operation over a wide area with airplane scouts when they encountered the Sinn Feiners. 3 Irish Rebels Executed. Dublin, June 8. —Three men convicted of participating in recent dis oniers in Ireland were executed here. Edward Foley and Patrick Maher went to their doom for the murder of a royal Irish constabulary sergeant at Knocklong, while Constable William Mitchell was execute<i for the murder of Magistrate Dixon of Duniavin, <’ounty Wexford. < ’rowds assembled in the outer part of the jail grounds and sang hymns and recited prayers for Foley and Maher. Miss Teresa Finch who has been teaching in the high school at Colfax, Wash., the past winter, returned ( to her home here last Saturday and will spend the summer months with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. I.
