Ahmed Djemal Pasha, former minister under the Young Turk regime at Constantinople and ex-commander of the Fourth Turkish army in Syria. lie is the first upon the black list of the Arabian government for extradition and punishment, being accused, says the Tribuna De Geneve, of the deaths of 7.000 Arabian, Syrian and Armenian families whom he is alleged to have ordered to be massacred or deported into the desert, where they died of hunger and thirst in the war. He has been sentenced to death after a hearing in Turkey. It Is charged, he obtained his vast wealth In Turkish gold, having always refused bank notes. Once a week his wife or one of the members of his family traveled tn Constantinople from Djemal's headquarters in Syria, under military escort with small boxes of gold which were forwarded subsequently to Switzerland and Holland. It was Djemal and Djavld Pasha who were at Pa'J^ in July, 1914, and, foreseeing she v^aYT^bought the German warships Goehen and Breslau for their government by orders from Constantinople. Djemal, who has only a temporary permission to sojourn in Switzerland, was recently requested by the SwiMs government to leave this country, but he managed to procure a medical certificate proving that traveling would be prejudicial to his health, and remain at Lausanne. The Tribune demands his expulsion from Switzerland with several of his satellites. Djemal, however, cannot return to Turkey, as the death sen- ! tence awaits him there.

DON'T BE CARELESS ABOUT YOUR HEALTH When the liver is not acting properly the system becomes full of i>oisonous accumulations, the kidneys and intestinal glands become sluggish and a general debilitated and nervous condition exists. The blood become impure, the circulation sluggish and the brain clouded. A neglected liver causes chronic constipation, jaundice, gall-stone and very often cancer. Glando Tonic acts upon the whole glandular system of which the liver is the chief gland. If this glandular system is in good working condition disease has no chance to fasten itself upon you. The best time to doctor is when you begin io feel tired, achy or languid. To neglect one’s self when that tired, draggy feeling is present may mean weeks of severe il ness. Let Glando Tonic rei .ove that feeling and give you life and health. Mothers who have nursing babies should use Glando Tonic to keep their bowels well regulated and their system in a good condition. This will regulate baby’s bowels and help it to withstand the heat and germs of Summer. Glando Tonic can be obtained of druggists or direct from the Gland-Aid Company, Ft. Wayne.
