George Jackson of Gary has sold his residence property in the southwest part of town to Roy Sparks, who is employed at the Rudd Motor Co.’s garage. Mrs. Perry Wolfenberger, who has been visiting at the home of Mr. and Mis. George Beit er and other relatives. returned Saturday to her home in South Bend.

Foster, who had got the notion in his head that he was in pretty had shape and had about deX'ided to make his will, went over to Chicago the latter part of last week and had a thorough examination by a specialist. The learned man after gi\ing the patient a thorough physical inspection, said there was nothing the matter with him except that his stomach was on a little strike from eating too much, and advised him to cut out so much eatina and not to work any. Mel believes he can follow the directions all riaht excetit the eating part. He says the examination would have been cheap at any price and since taking it has been as frisky as a two-year-old. and is liable to start a “rough house" most any time. Candace, returned Friday from North Dakota and will remain here, rhex did not like the climate on account of the severe winter weather.
