Respecting the removing cf Gen. Samuel Milroy from the Crawfordsvilla Land Office, the Democrat says, "Gei. Milroy's failure to
comply with the instructions of the department, which made it necessary for him to reside at Crawfordsville, we understand, is the groud of his removal. I'ew men in our state stand higher than Gen. Milroy in the pnhlio estimation, or have more of the confidence of the Republican party."
