FROM THE AMERICAN TELEGRAPH In the 47th number of the Telegraph, is published an essay, taken from Liberty Hall on the subject of the agriculture and manufactures of the western county. It is stated in the paper that 10 sheep can be supported by an acre of good land, during eight months in the years, and that profit arising from them and the land, is equal to $60 per acre. Of this I can no doubt, as I have found similar results from the similar experiments. The writer of that essay might have made a comparison of the products of an acre when occupied in feeding sheep, & in any other agricultural purpose and he would have found a balance in favor of the sheep.
