Nobly Done.

Twelve wagons, under the conduct of noble farmers of Vigo county, mostly from Riley township, arrived in this city on Sunday evening, for the purpose of conveying home such of the volunteers as belonged to that county, who are expected daily by the railroad. More than two weeks ago these whole-hearted and patriotic men, had made arrangements to give the boys from Mexico a free barbecue in Riley township, where many of them live. A public dinner is also to be given to them at Cloverland, and at Dunham's settlement in Clay county. Hurrah for Clay county! Hurrah for Vigo! Nine cheers for the full and free hearts of RILEY TOWNSHIP!!!—<State Sentinel, 19th inst>. =======

GREAT News FROM IRKLAND.—We understand that T. F. Meagher, the leading spirit of the Irish Agitation, perhaps the most eloquent of living orators, will start for New York this week, and may consequently be expected here in a few days. He comes to lay the story of Irelaud's wrones, and the prospects of Ireland's (liscnthrallment before the American people. We hazard nothing in stating that lie will meet such a hearty welcome hrfre, as will make him feel that Ireland is not friendless.— V.

The Voinnteer, William W. GnwMptl, Esq.. in a eentlem.in of fine utandin?—an accomplished and well elnealcd man. anil wag recently high sheriff of this district. By one of your advertlsemenis in a Charleston paper, happened to notice the location of your office, aim thousht yon mieht extract an article of aome value in regard to your medicine, therefore sentthepaper. "My health is very f»si irnprovin? I procured, afew Hays nzo, xorne of Dr. Wright'* ml inn Vegetable Pills, anil they have acted on my system like mneic!"

Thus it appears that the brave and patriotic Volunterrs who have pone tn Mexico, to defend the rights and honor of their country, already berin to realize the extraordinary value of this incomparable medicine. Long lile to thimi!

Cure for Fever and Husselrille, Putnam county, tnd., July 17.1817. Dr. Wrislit—Sometimes since your ayenl left me a snrp|y of yniir Indian Vegetable Pills. I have found id Pills to he in ereat demand lately fir the cure of Fever arid Aeire. Mr. Jatnp* Boyd has a .«on who has been laid up with I'ever ami Asrue, inl had tried various other remedies, all of which proved of no avail. He determined to try your Indian Vegetable Pills, and by usinp one box he is now sound and well. Mr. T.Spencer had a daurhier. Mr. Hueh Groves a son, and Mr, Charles Nichols and three of his family, were down at the same time with Fever and Azue. and had also tried the various ntherremedies without effect. Your Indian Vegetable Pills soon restored them all to perfect health lean assure you from what I have seen, your Indian VWetable Pills maybe relied on for a permanent cure of Fever and Ague.

Yours, respectfully. JACOB DURHAM, P. M., Also, an Acting Justice of the Peace.

This is to certify, that I was entirely cured of the Chills and Fever, of several month's slnnrtias. by the use of four doses, of four pills each, of Wrisht's Indian Vegetable Pills, and after takine medicine from a resu lar physician for some time, and have had iiosyrnptonis of it since, which was about one year B?O.

HORRIBLE MISTAKES 1 Are sometimes made by confounding one medicine with another and administering the wrnujr article.— K'|iially horrible are those mistakes which are made in

snnposine that nil Pills am alike, and that therefore, it is inditrerent which are taken, anil if one kind is bad all are bud together. This is a very preal mistake.— There is a* much difference between Wright'* Indian Vegetable I'ills. and other articles as between mid. nivhtand noonday! We do nut wish any to lake our word merely fur this statement. Let any one, having taken oilier medicines, try this. Nothing more will be necessary.

Many persons have been led nway by a coating of Suear, as if they anticipated that it would remove the nausea of the medicine. Bill lliey are generally mistaken. Without the sugar those nrlioies liavo nothing to rocommend ihein,

would not be sold a single day.—

But witli the sucnr, and hy giving iho article a name similar to Wright's Indian Vegetable Pills, they gain a mporary notoriety. Wolves lliey are, in slinep's clothing, of whom the public should sieersiidicienlly clear.

Let it be remembered that Wright's Indian Vegetable Pills are prepared with special reference to the laws governing the human body. Consequently, they aro always effective in rooting out diseases. Every family should keep them at hand.
