letters from physicians, agents, and those who use the medicine, from all the Western nnd Southern States, satisfy uslhAl this is a moderate estimate, and that, our medicine is rKpidly taking the place of the various «u-gar-conled counterfeit* which are afloat, and the numerous tonic mixtures, tpade wholly of yutm' ie which are imposed upon the public 1y manufacturers who live, ndbody kndlrs trhere I
Dr. Br&sg's famous Kttear-Coated Indian Queen Vese Pills are of two kinds—the Cathartic and Tonic. The Tonic pifls are peculiarly adapted to the rjuick and per-' man»*it cure of fever luid ague, torpor of the liver, and generaldebility. It is in feverand ague. chillTever, fcc. that they achieve their greatest triumphs. It rarely requires over twelve'hours, or inore thaii half a box of the tonic pills, to break the chill and effect a permanent cure—which is rrrely the case with the tonic mixtures of quinine, hawked about the country by ign-rant nreterxj. ers. Those who take the tonic pills once, will never Y,rs*ke them.
Whjcan wonder, then, that a meriicii of snch expensive popularity and extraorttinary virtues shootd cause Great Excitement among the Doctors!!
