A
cloud of
witnesses are before you and the world", too numerous—too intelligent—resistless, speaking what' they do know, and testifying what they have aeen and experienced. Without exception, in any age or country, no medicine has spread with such rapidity and given such universal satisfaction—they are in general ase throughout the American continent aad elsewhere—«hd their resistless power and innocence proclaim them one of the happiest dis coverics of modern^days, and an inestimable pub lie blessing. They amjimple in their preparation, and mild and kind in their action, thorough in their operation, and unrivalled in their results. The town and country are alike filled with their praise. The palace and poor house alike echowith their virtue* —in all climates, under all temperatures, they will retain their wonderful powers, and exert them unaltered by age or situation. «nQ this the voice of grateful community proclaims.
They will euro Billious Fcvor, Fever and Ague, Dyspepsia, Liver Complaints, Sick Headache, Jaundice, Asthma, Dropsey, Rheumatism,Enlargement of the Spleen, Piles, Cholic, Female Obstructions Furred Tongue, Heartburn, Nitusea, Distension 0* the Stomach and the Bowels, Incipient Diarrhea Flatulence, Habitual Costiveness, Loss of Appetite, Blotched or Sallow Complexion, and in all caaes of Torpor of the Bowels, where a cathartic or an aperient is indicated, producing neither nausea, griping, nor debility, and are the scientific compound of a regular physician who has made his profession tho study of his life. Dr. Peters was bred to Uie healing art. Ho is a graduate of Yale College, and the medical college ot Berkshire, Mass. diplomas from both hang in his office, Liberty St. Now York. Also, the American Institute honored him with three premiums, for his inimitab'e skill and perfection, in generalising and manufacturing modicines, and the medical society of N. Y. have recognized Peters' Pills with their sanction and individual patronage. Dr. Peters formerly practiced in the marshy district South, where agues, fevers, and yellowback, grow out of a morbid state of the bile, and here it was that Petera' Pills originated for the benefit of mankind. Some very quacks tell you their nostrums will cure every tning. I would its leave swallow prescriptions, wrappers and all, as a tale so absurd. Peters' Pills work no such miracles, although I take them and dorive more real benefit in ono box than in fifly dollars laid out in my former way, and I would exchango thorn foe none. lii
The cafe with which a box of pills,is put under Dr. Peters' own inspection, thoir adaptation to every variety of ills, where cathartics are indicated, and their happy influence on young ladies while suffering under the usual changes of life, as directed by the laws of nature. Three or four is a common dose, hence the pntinnt is not compelled to make a meal out of them.
