Celebrated Hair
ResloratiTC.
ri^IIlS celebrated and most remarkable Hair reJL storative has become In a very short period not only popular, but a great favorite. The most skeptical are now satisfied that it will positively restore grey 1 sir to its original color, and reproduce a luxuriant growth of hair on baldheads. It witl prevent the premature falling off of the hair, ana impart a soft and glossy appaarance, as if it hsd been recently oiled, and will thoroughly cleanse the scalp from dandruff. All of this, hundreds of our citizens have realized, sjmeof whom have been silver white-and bald for the past ten or fifteen years. Many ladies have been cored of neuralgia and ulcers in the head by its use. It is pnt up in quait bottles at $3 pints, 2 and half pints at 91 each. Testimonials of its almost miraculous effects can be had at the Wholesale and Retail agency, in Terre Haute, Indiana.

It give me pleasure to add nry testimony to the professional Q^iili ty of the author of the "MEDICAL MANUAL." Numerous cases of Diseases of the Genital Organs, ^ome(ol them ol long standing, have come under my notipe, iu which his skill has been manifested in ivfetbring to perfect health, in some instances where the patient has been considered beyond medical nid. ..In the treatment of Seminal weakness, or disarrangement of the functions produced by .SELF-ABUSE, dr EXCESS of yeuery, I do not know his SUPERIOR in the profession. I have been acquainted with the Author some thirty years, and deem it no more thhn justice to him hs well as a kindness to the unfortunate vie tim of early indiscretion, to recommend him as one, in whose professional skill and integrity they may safely confide themselves.
ALFRED WOODWARD, M. D.
This is, without exception, the most comprehensive and intelligible work published on the class of diseases of which it treats.

This remedy, is offered to the community with the confidence we feel in an article which seldom fails to realize tho happiest effects that can bedeSired. So wide is the field of its usefulness and so numerous the cases of its cures, that almost every section of the country abounds in persons, publicly known, who have been restored from alarming and even desperate diseases of the lungs by its use. Wl en once tried, its superiority over every other'raedicine of its kind, is too apparent to escape observation, and where its virtues arc known-, the public no longer hesitate what antidote to employ for the distressing and dangerous affections'of tho pulmonary organs, which are incident to our climate
Noihing has called louder for the earnest en: quiry of m«dical men,.than the alarming prevalence and fatality, of consumptive Complaints, nor has any one class of diseases hrtd irore-ol their Investigation and care. But as yet inadequate remedy had been provided, on which, the publio could depend for protection from attacks upon the respiratory organs, until the introduction of the
CHERRY PECTORAL.
This article is the product of a long, laborious, iind I believe successful endeavor, to furnish the community with such a remedy. Of this last statement the American people are now themselves prepared to jwdge, and, I appeal with con fidcnce to their decision. If there is nny dependence to be placed in what men ol ev^ry class and station certify it has done for them, if we con trust our own senses, when we see dangerous arfcctions of the throat and lungs yi^jd to it, if we can depend on tho assurance ol intelligent rhysn cians, who make it'their business to knowv^-in short, if there is any reliance upon anything, then is it irrefutably proven that this medicine does relieve and docs cure the class of diseases it is designed for, beyond any ond nil others that 'are known to mankind. If thi9 be true, it cannot -be too freely published, nor be too widely known. The afflicted should know it. A remedy that cures, is priceless to .-them. Parents should know it, their children .arc priceless to them. All should know it, lor health can be priced to no orto- -Not only should it be circulated here, but everywhere, not only in this country, but in all'countriesHow faithfully we have acted on this conviction, is shown in the fact that.already this article has made the circle ol the globe- The sun never setr on its limits. No continent is without it, and bat few'people Although not in so general use in other nations ns in this, it is employed by the more intelligent in al/nost all civilized conntries. It is extensively employed by both Americas—in Europe, Apia, Atrica, Australia and the far off islands of the sea. Life is as dear to its possessors there as here, and they grasp at a valuable remedy with ev.en more_ avidity. Unlike most preparations of its kind, it is an expensivo composition of costly material. Still it is afforded to the public at a reasonable low price, and what is or vast more importance to them, its quality is never suffered to decline from itsorjgt, nnlstandard of excellence. Every bottle of this medicine, now manufactured, is as good as ever Has been made heretofore, or as we ore capable of making.' No toil or cost is spared, in maintaining it in the best perfection which it is possible to produce. Hence the patient who procures the genuine CHERRY PECTORAL, can rely on having as good an article os has ever been hid by those who testify to its res.

READ THIS
CAREFULLY. r.- I feel it a c/ebt of grgi*
Dr. SWAYNE—DearSir
itwdo due tiyou—nhd a duty to the afflicted generally, to offer my 'hnmble testimony in favor bf youi Compotincf Syrup of Wild Cherry. §iomo three years since, 1 was violently attacked with cold and inflammation of the Lungs, which wan nccompanied with a very distressing cough, pain in the breast and head a very considerable discharge of offensive mucus from the lungs, especially u,ion changes of weather, however slight. At first I felt no alarm about my condition, but was pretty soon convinced that I WAS rapidly going into consumption. I grew daily weaker, and at length was scarcely able to walk about, or speak above a whisper, such was the exceeding weakness of my lungs. During this time I had tried various preparations and prescriptions, but found no relief—growing all the time worse. Just here 1 was advised and persuaded by a deaf friend in Wilmington, to moke trial of your Syrup of Wild Cherry. I must confess that previously 1 had been prejudiced against patent medicines, nnd I am still against inose coming out of the hands of emperics, but understanding your claims to the profession and practico of n.edicine^ and having implicit faith in the saying of myr friends, I forthwith purchased of Dr. Shaw, oneof your ageuts, a few bottles, and commenced its use. My diseaso was ot this time of 20 or 25months' standing, consequently was deeply seat' ed. I found, however, considerable relief from' the use of the first four or five bottles. But being a public speaker, I frequently attempted to preach with my increasing strength and thereby ruptured those vessels that had already begun taheal in this way doubtless my cure was greatly retarded. In consequence of acting thus imprudently, 1 had to use 12 or 15 bottlcB before I was* perfecily restored. 1 have no question, a much* smaller number of bottles would have made me sound, but for the above indiscretion. tThe Syrup sllayed the feverished habit, did away the distressing cough, put a stop to the discharge of matter from the lungs, and gave them and the entire system good health. I have deterred offering this certificate till now for the purpore of being perfectly satisfied with tho permanency of the cure, and now that I feel perfectly well, 1 offer it with piMsure. REV. J.
