Of all t&e numerous mctllcines extant, (and some of them valuable) for the care of pulmonary complaints, nothing 1ms ever been found which could compare in its effects with this Preparation. Others cure sometimes, bat at all times and in all diseases of the lungs and throat where medicine can give relief, this will do it. It is pleasant to take, and perfectly safe in accordance with the directions. We do not advertise lor the informa tion of those who have tried it but those who have not. Families that have known its value will not be without it, and by its timely use, they ore secure Irom the dangerous consequences of Coughs and Colds which neglected, ripeaifiU) fatal con sumption.
Tne diploma of the Massachusetts Institute was awarded to this preparation by the Hoard of Judges in September 1847 also, the Medals ot the three great Institutes of Art, in this country aliso the Diploma of the Ohio Institute nt Cincinnati, has been given to the CUERRT PECTORAL, by their Government in consideration of its extraordinary excellence and usefulneea in curing affec tiona of the Lungs and Throat.
Read the following opiniou founded on the long experience of the eminent Physician of the Port and City of Dr. J. Ayer,— ST. JOHNS. May. 8, 1851.
Five years trial of your CILERR PECTOR AL\a my practice, has proven hat I foresaw from its composition, must be true, that iteradi cates and cures the colds and coughs to which we, in this section, are peculiarly liable. 1 think its equal has not yet been discovered, nor do I know how a better re edy can bo made for the distempers of the Throat and Lungs.

See what it has done on a wasted constitution, not only in the following cases, but a thousand more:—
SUDBURY,Jan. 24th, 1851.
Dr. Ayer In the month of July last I was at tacked by a violent diarrhoea in the mines in Cal ifornia. I returned to San Francisco in hope of receiving benefit from a change of climate and diet. My diarrhoea censed, but was followed by severe cough—and much sorenoss. I finally started for home, but received no benefit from the voyage. My cough continued to grow worse, and when I orrived in New York, I was at once marked by niy acquaintances as a victim of eonsump tion. 1 must confess that I saw no sufficient rcuson to doubt what my friends all believed. At this time I commenced taking your truly invaluable medicine with little expectation of deriving any benefit from Its uae. You would not receive these lines did I not regard it my duty to state the fllicted. through you, that my health, in the space of eight months, is fully restored. I attribute it to the uae of your CHE RY PECTORAL.
Yours truly,
