Dear Sir—The two donm of your SarsatarillA, ordered in Beptamber. cams to band, and, in soinowledging the recailpt of the same, I fuel I would be loing you injustice to withhold the following, among tli* nany of the instances that haveeome under my obaerra Ion, during the last two years, of the great curatiTe prop •rtle* of your Barmparilla
Mra. Jeannetta Martin,«
a highly respectable lady of my
leighlmrhood, aged stity-flre years, had been long afflicted triui a canceroua ulcer, whlmi finally reduced tier to ielples« a condition, that she could not leave her bed. Bhc riod the best medioal advice in our county, without relief, ind had given up all hopes of a cure. At thU stage of her a*e, I persuaded her (on to take a bottle of your Barsapa--illa. lie did »o, and in a short time returned, and purihaaed another bottle, stating tba first bad had a decidedly •ood effect. She continued to usa it until, after the use of ve or six bottles, I had the pleasure of seeing the old lady lerself at church. She auured me that she had almoet mtirely recovered her health, and from her I received the tecount of her diabase, and in about the same words I give to you. This is but one of a number of cures under my ibaervation—of very remarkable ones—performed by the ise of your Sarsaparilla, in my neighborhood. The daased since its introduction aera. Dr. Joan Bull: Dear Sir—I have seen the most marvel ions cure of one of my patients, by your valuable medicine —an old lady, who had been afflicted from her childhood irith scrofula, and various diseases of the bruin. She wat lixty years old. It had run into somethlug like leprosy md she was the most frightful creature my eyes evei jelield. 1 called in Dr. McFadden, a very fine physician xi consult with me in relation to her. We came to the onclusion that It was out of our power to relieve her but is going to my office, I accidentally picked up one of youi louruab, when, on seeing the wonderful cures your Sarsajarllla had effected, I resolved to try the experiment in thii

I, Thomas A. Rlngo. of Graves Co., Ky., for the benefit mankind generally, do hereby certify, that on or about the 16th day of October, 1847,1 waa attacked with a very severe pain in the lower part of the abdomen, which liuited out a few minutes, and moved into the left hip, and con* inued exceedingly painful for about five days, during which time I had a very light fever. At the end of that ime the fever ceased, and the pain abated for a day or two, ifter which it again returned, and was much worse than aefore. During all this time'I was under medical treatnent. From a short time after I was taken, 1 was unable 0 walk or sit up the hip in which the pain was- so bad ommonced rising, until some time in January, when it ourst, and a number of pieces of bone came out—As many is twenty, at loast. Some of the pieces were three-fourths fan inch long. Some time after this, a hard knot appeared on my right hip, also one on my right wrist, and ne on my leg, below my knee. I continued to get weak ind worse, and pain made its appearance in my right •houlder, and would move in my breast and stomach. At this time all persons gave me up to die. A physician then told me that, as a last remedy, I had better use MK. BULL'S FLUID EXTRACT OF SARSAPARILLA. After house of the second bottle, the knot on my wrist commenced getting soft. I Opened it, and a day or two after, 1 piece of bone came out. My wrist soon got well, and I continued to gain strength. After I used the third bottle, could get no more for some four weeks, after which time succceded in getting three more bottles. After using the three last bottles, the knot on my hip became soft it was pened, and some corruption ran out, together with a nnall piece of bone, and the sore won got well, and the not entirely diappeared. The sore on my leg also opened, ind apiece of bone came out. 1 continued the use of the Saraaparilla until I used twelve bottles, and am now entirely well, and able to do daily labor. It may seem itrange to some, but I will here state that, during the summer of 1849,1 coughed up three pieces of bone, which sin now be seen at the residence of my uncle. Thos. Neal, •rhere I now live, and if any persons doubt this statement, will be happy to converse with them, if they will call on ne. Signed, THOMAS N. R1NGO.

In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my
hand, and caused the seal of the County Court ol 1 1 said county to be hereunto affixed, this 18th day of February, 1860.
EDWIN ANDERSON.
Can the reader believe, after reading the description of .he above numerous curcs, that there is still a few human eiugs, suffering with disease, thae refufw) to give Bull's Jarsaparilla a trial. It is Indeed hard to believe, but nevirtheless, it is too true. What kind of testimony would it ake to convince the few remaining disbelievers, that Bull's nedicine will do more even than it promises? The doctor tould produce another and another cure performed by his nedicine but if the cases published above will not conrfce the sceptical, it is useless to produce any more, and, ndeed, it would cost a fortune to publish the many certiicatee that have been showered on Dr. Bull. The largest nammoth shoot in America would not contain even the uunes of those cured, let alone full statements of their •astis.

in all ages has been busy in de
vising the easiest ana most practicable method of obtaining water from the deep cavities of the earth. But nothing has as yet surpassed the old fashioned sucker pump. This good old principle lias been greatly improved upon by Mr. FAG AN, recently in Terre Haute. Instead of theold wooden stock in one piece, he has improved the material by a combination of iron and wooden pieces, apd so far altered the old plan aa by placing the plunge within ten feet of the water, to produce a material difference in the volume of water, and also in lessening the expenae. Several of these pumps are now in operation in this place—twoor three at the Pork Houses—and give the most entire satisfaction.
The undersigned. living in the town of Terre Haute, have purchased all the improved pumps of Mr. FAGAN, and have them for sale—and are also prepared to put them in operation for all persons who will give them a call. dec!4 50-16-tf J. & J. W. BOND.
