Ir. At this stage of bet ANe, I persuaded her son to take a bottlo of your Snratparilla. lie did so, an I in a short time returned, aud purh«3ed another :e, stating the first had had a dccideJIy P)chI iiVct. She continued to uase it until, after the u«i of 1t« bottles, 1 had the pleasure of seeing the old lady at church. She assured rao that she had almost jutlroly recovered hear health, aud from her I reffired the tocouut of her di*r£ae, and in about the snme words 1 tfive ,t to you. This is but one of a number of cures under my ibservation—of very remarkable ones—performed by the tm of your Sarsaparlila, iu niy neighborhood. The demand for it has steadily increased since its introduction aero. Very respectfully, your obedient serTant,
In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my g, hand, and causcd the seal of the County Court ol I said county to be hereunto affixed, this 18th day of February, 1850.

Botui Codstt, Ky., Oct. 6,1851.
Br. John Bull: Dear Sir—I hare seen the most marvelion# cure of one of my patients, by your valuable modicint —an old lady, who had been afflicted from her childhood with scrofula, and various diseases of the brain. She wat ilxty vcars old. It had run into something like leprosy tnd a\te was the most frightful creature u\y eyes evet aehcld. I called in Dr. Mcl'adden, a very flue physician :o consult with me in relation to her. We came to tlie conclusion that it was out of our bower to relieve her but going to my office, 1 accidentally picked up one of youi Journals, when, on sceiug the wonderful cures your Shi-m jarilla had effected, I rosolvcd to try the experiment in thit
I took her two bottles of it, after taking which 1 aerceived a great change. I took her some more. She is aow taking the sixth bottlo, and 1 consider her entirely ured. 1 take great pi aasure iu recommending your for taparilla to the a^lictcd public.
Yours respc«j|ully,
State of Kentucky, Graves Co., Set.
This day personally came before mo the undersigned, an Kting justice of the peace in and for said county, and made ath in due form of law, that the above statement is true. Subscribed and sworn to, this 15th flay of February, 1S50.
EDWIN ANDERSON.
Can the reader believe, after reading the description of die above numerous cures, that there is still a few human xdngs,* suffering with disease, that refuse to give Bull's Jarsaparilla a trial. It is indeed hard to believe, but nevirtheiess, it is too true. What kind of testimony would it »ke to convince the few remaining disbelievers, that Bull's ncdlcino will do more even than it promises? The doctor jould produce another and another cure performed by his nedicine but if the cases published above will not conrice the sceptical, it is useless to produce any more, and, ndeed, it would cost a fortuno to publish the many certiicates that have been showerod on Dr. Bull. The largest nammoth sheet in America would not contain even the lames of those cured, let alono full statements of their jases.

I, Thomas A. Rlngo, of 'Graves Co., Ky., for the benefit }f mankind generally, do hvrohy certify, that on or about the 16th day of October, 1847.1 was attacked with a very severe pain in the lower part of tlie abdomen, which lasted out a few minutes, and moved into the left hip, and continued exceedingly painful for about flro days, during which time I had a very light fever. At the end of that :iine the fever ceased, and the pain abated for a day or two, ifter which it again returned, and was much worse than sefore. During all this time 1 was under medical treatment. From a short time after I was taken, I was unable walk or sit up the hip in which the pain was so bad xtmimmccd rising, until some time in January, when it ourst, aud a number of pieces of bone came out—as many is twenty, at least. Some of the pieces were three-fourths )f an inch long. Some time after this, a lmrd knot appeared on my right hip, also one on my ripht wrist, and sne on my leg, below my knee. I continued to get weak uid woree, and uaiu made its appearance in my right shoulder, and would move in my breast and stomach. At this time all persons gave me up to die. A physician then told me that, as a last remedy, I had tetter use -MR. BULL'S FLUID EXTRACT OF SARSAPARILLA. After the use of the second bottle, the knot on my wrist commenced getting soft. I opened it, and a day -or two after, piece of bone came out. My wrist soon got well, and I continued to gain strength. After I used the third bottle, I could get no more for some four weeks, after which time succeeded in getting three more bottles. After using the three last bottles, the knot on my hip becamo soft it was opened, and some corruption ran ont, together with a miall pit-ce of bone, and the sore soon got well, and the uxot entirely dlappeared. The sore on my leg also opened, ind apiece of bone came out. I continued the use of the Sarsapurilla until used twelve bottles, and am now intirely well, and able to do daily labor. It may seem strange to some, but I will here state that, during the mmrncr of 1841), I coughed up three pieces of bone, which ian now be seen at the residence of my uncle, Thos. Neal, where I now live, and if any persons doubt this statement, I will be happy to converse with them, if they will call on die. Signed, THOMAS N. RINUO.

INGENUITY in all ages has been busy in de1 vising the easiest and most practicable method of obtaining water from the deep cavities of the earth. But nothing has as vet surpassed the old fashioned sucker pump. This good oki principle has been greatly improved upoiiby Mr. FAG aN, reccntlv in Terre Haute. Instead oft fie old wooden stock in one piece, be has improved the material by a combination of iron and wooden pieces, and so far aiiered the old plan as by placing the plunge within ten feet of the water, to produce a material difference in the volume of water, and also in lessening the expense. Several of these pump* are now in operation in this place— twoor three at the Pork Houses—and give the most entire saiistbetion.
The undersigned, living in the town of Terre Haute, have purchased all the improved pumps of Mr. FaGAIS, aad have them for sale—and are also prepared to put them in operation for all persons who will give them a call. decli 50-16-tf J. & J. W. BOND.

In the "winter of 1550, I was attacked with A severe pain, which was gradually extending through the whole right side and leg at the same time, a total prostration of my physical system: also, my l-g had shrunk to about two-tlirirds of its common size. -I procured the attendance of a skillul prnctitioner, who pronounced my disease one of the worst forms of liver complaint. He said my case was one not easily handled", but prescribed for me. I remained under his treatment until 1 was satisfied he could not help rue. 1 then procured of your agent at this place, VV. A. Mr. John D. Paric—Dear Sir: am out of your Wistar's Balsam of Wild Cherry," and "Dr. Guysott's Extract of Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla. Please forward a supply immediately. Your Balsam of Wild Cherry worked to a charm here: not a bottle failed of our Balsam of Wild Cherry worked to a charm here: not a bottle fails affording immediate relief, and in every instance but one, (an old gentleman of 71 years of age) it cured, and the Yellow Dock has done equally as well. BALSAM
Wild Chkrry has long been known to possess important medicinal properties. This fact is familiar to every matron in our land, and physicians often
of complaints. Tar. also, has been equally noted for its virtues and some physicians, whose names aro familiar to the whole country, have gone so far as to declare that even Consumption could be cured by that alone. In other hands, again, it was nearly valueless, owing, no doubt, to their ignorance in preparing and administering it—a difficulty now entirely obviated by patient experiment and long experience.
The extraordint ry medicinn 1 powers of these two substances ore now, for the first time, combined and .embodied in.Dr. Wistar's Balsam or Wild Cherry. By a nice chemical process, everything deleterious or useless is rejected, so that what remains is the most extraordinary and truly efficacious remedy for all kinds of pulmonary aud liver diseases ever known to man. To convince alt ibelievers that our theory is really true, we refer to a few cases of cures performed by this wonderful medicine:
I was under the care of a skillful physician, from the timo.l was taken sick until about six weeks then about helpless, and my friends considered my case hopeless, or at least beyond sed the use of

Mr. J. D. Pauk—DearSir: I wish to state to you that my daughter, Amanda, aged sixteen years, had, about a year since, a very severe attack ol measels, which reduced her very much, and with a racking cough. I employed all of the physicians within our reach for the purpose of .removherleft ing
her cough, but without success. She appeared to be sinking into a decline, with every symptom of consumption. I then tried "Dr. Rogers' Liverwort and Tar." But this aggravated her cough, and gave her symptoms of a still more malignant character. I was now most seriously alarmed, and it was with trembling fear that I, from day today, saw the progress of that insatiable disease, Consumption. I really despaired of mv daughter's recovery. J. D. Park- Dear Sin I take the liberty of advising you of the benefit I have derived from the use of Dr. Wistar's Balsam of Wild berry. I was prostrated by that terrible scourge, Consumption, in May last. The attack was truly horifying to me, for five of our family, (my brothers and sisters) bad died of Consumption. 1 was afflicted with nearly all the worst features of the disease. I had a distressing cough, and expectorated a great deal of blood, hectic fever, severe pains in the side and chest, cold chills, alternating with flushes of heat and copious night sweats.
