Pains or Weakness of the Breast or Lungs, and all other Aflectionsof the Pulmonnrv Organs. IMPORTANT CAUTION. Beware of a base counterfeit of Wistar's Balsam of Wild Cherry, signed by one Wm. M. Speer who, in order to palm his vile imitation upon the public, has obtained a far timile of our bottle, and copied our label of directions verbatim, substituting his own name for that of Henry Wistar, M. D. which is found upon the genuine.

Remember, the outside label or wrapper of the genuine Balsam is a finely executed steel plate engraving bearing the signature of IJenrv Wistar, M. D., and Sandfordand St Park—none other can be gen nine.

The Eighth Wonder of the World. Many who have witnessed the extraordinary cures effected by the genuine Wistar's Balsam of Wild Cherry, seem to regard it as the eighth wonder of the world. "Why." say they, "the Wild Cherry Bark and the Island Moss, (the twochiaf ingredients of this wondetful compound.) have bepn prescribed thro'out time immemorial by the best physicians—but never before have cures so extraordinary been performed."

The reason is obvious. The proprietors of Wistar's ilsam of Wild Cherry do not claim for their compound any farfetched, mysterious, miraculous power. They have openly acknowledged the sitn pie nature of its elements, and only claim for their great and invaluable discovery the pxclu«ive secret of ftCrTHAT JUDICIOUS COMBINATION of ingredients which lo to make up this richest of curative compounds.jC#

IIadd j\fiei.d,N.J., April, 1843.

On or about the 13th of October, 1841,1 was token with a violent pain in my tide, near the liver, which continued for about five days, and was followed by the breaking of an ulcer or an abscess which relieved the pain a little, but caused me to throw up a great quantity of offansive matter, and also much blood. Bring greatly alarmed at this, I applied to a physician but he replied that he thought he could do but little forme, except give me some mercury pills, which I refused to take, feeling satisfied that they could do no good. Many other remedies were then procured by my wife and friends, but none did me any good snd the discharge of blood and corruption still continued every few davs, and at last became ao offensive that I could scarcely breathe. I was also seized with a violent cough, whien at times caused me to raise more blood than I had done before and my disease continued in this way. stilt growing worse, until February, when all thoughts of my recovery was sriven up, and my friends all thought I would die of a galloping consumption. At this moment, w'.ien my life was apparently drawing near its close, I heard of Dr. W»star'a Balsam of Wild Cherry, and gut a bottle, which relieved me im* mediately and by the uas of only three bottles of this medicine, all my pain were removed my cough snd spitting of blood and corruption entirely stopped, and in few wMka my health was restored, so ss ta enable me to work at my trade, (which is a carpenter,) and up to this time I have ei\joyed good health.

[Read the following certificate.]

Mr. H. G. Farrell: Dear Sir—Having in my lifetime owned many horses, I am pretty well acquainted with the diseases they are subject to, as well as the remedies ususlfyspplied, ana must ssy that I never used or heanl of any medicine that was half so good as your Liniment. I would recommend it with the greatest confidence to all who havehorses. They should always have it on hand, so that it could be applied immediately in case of accident, and thereby save the life of many a vaK uable horse I have used it in the very worst casei of sweeney with entire success also splint, sprains, bruises, galls, wounds, soro eyes, tcC. Two most extraordinary cures I must mention in particular lgjtupvery early one morning, snd on looking into my pasture discovered my favorite Itorse liuip in and dragging a rail after him. Oft going up close to him, to my anmcment and horrot' ths rail was sticking' in his stomach, between tho flanks, to the depth of ei jht-lnches, snd so tightly that it took three hard pulls to extricate it after which the poor animal suffered the utmost agony« I never dreamed of his recovery, and supposed, that no human hand could save him. The well known virtues of your Liniment flashed on my mind, and it was immediately applied. By the next day I had the gratification of*witnessing the commencement of his recovery, and in six nays thereafter I rode him to Peoria, na found as cVer«i\ and would not take $150 for him now/ Thftv other cast) was this. Ons of my men gol his letf in the teeth of a thrashing machine* and it waf only by a miracle that he was not instantly killed. His leg was horribly mutilated, though no bones were broken. Your Liniment was applied, and irt five dap he wsnt to work again. He fully be* lieves that but for vour Liniment lie would never have recovered. With every wiah for the success of the Arabian Liniment, jam truly yours.

Aiken's mills, near Peoria, March 1, 1847. [Read the following extraordinary cure of ii spina! affection and loss of use of the limbs.)'.

Mr. II. G. Farhei.l: Pleflse send me by ths bearer another dollar bottle of your Arabian Lint ment, which will be enough, 1 think, to complete* ly cure my dear child. I have often thought that I would sit down and furnish you with an account of my poor child's situation, so that you might make it public, and thus be the cause of as much benefit to some others of my fellott* beings as it has been tome. She laid for six months Without the slightest power or control of her limbs what' ever, and suffered the most agonizing pain ths greater portion of the time. Even her neck w#s perfectly stiff, and so painful that she could not bear to have her head moved in the least. Thus .was she for six months, during all which time we had to carry her about on a chair when she wished to change her place. We had three of the best physicians in the whole country nttending herw, but they could do her no good. Finally, one of them (the last to give her up) said lie could do no more for her. and that, as 1 wished to get your Liniment, I could do so, adding that he knew it was good, and might help her. I got it accordingly, and she began to recover after a few applications. She can now use all of her limbs freely, and can walk tolerably well. We are now applying it over the spine, which the doctors say is the seat of the disease, and we expect one bottle more to cure' her os well as ever she was. We have used it alstf for sprains,_ bruises, burns and cuts, with like success. Hoping that thisgreat remedy will be spread over the whole country. I am vours trulv,
