DR. HALL'S BALSAM FOR THE LUNGS la of more value to Consumptives than all the diamonds in the world, as the following persons of Cincinnati testify Mr. Wheadon, (from When don & Gest,) R. P. Donough, (Ben Franklin Print lng Office,) Mr. Bennet, (Gano'a Hardware store,) Mr. Bell, (one price store 5th street,) Mrs. Coles, (on 6th between Smith and John,) Mrs. S. McLean, corner of 9th and Walnut) Mrs. Menken, 5th st.,) Mr. Guthrie, City Hotel, who aaya that Dr. Hall* Balsam not only cured his cough, but dispersed the Tubercles which the Dr. aaid had form on his Lungs. Mr. Keg, at the Gaxette office who was cured of a cough and pain in the breast of long standing. Mr. Johnson, 5th street, says that Dr Hall's Balsam not only cured a most desperate cough but stopped the nightsweats and pain in his breast and side. Ask all these and they will tell you that Dr. Hall's Balsam is a diamond above price, and one that is destined to sparkle in every spot on the wide world where Cough, Colds and Consumptions are known.

greater facility than at the usual wharves of the City: and goods can be received and shipped Jtet of the expense of drayages, and the incidental aoiling and injury necessarily resulting from the frequent removal of goods—the saving of the wastage of grain in sacks from handling and hauling—also, avoiding the damage which exposure to weather causes to many articlea, such as lard and provisions in dry salt, particularly such as are intended for foreign markets.

When produce may be required to be inspeoted, bv the purchaser, it can be done with the same facility as in the City, the Inspector of Lafayette having apartments in the Stores. Mr. Henry AAmelung, formerly of Cincinnati, in connection vrith his other business at New Orleana, will give his personal attention at the Stores to the voluntary inspection and proper order of provisions for foreign or home market.

Believing that tha saving of drayagea, eaving In wastage of grain, Sic., &c.. the improved condition in which property can be received and shipped, together with the low rates of Storage and Forwarding, will be sufficient to attract the attention of shippers and others to the "Fi«k Storea." Cherry,

The great Remedy for Consumption of the Lunga. Affections of the Liver, Asthma, Bronchitis Pains or Weakness of the Breast or Lunga, and all other Affections of the Pulmonary Organa.

IMPORTANT CAUTION. Beware of a bate counterfeit of Wistar's Balaam of Wild Cherry, signed by one Wm. M. Speer who, in order to palm his vile imitation upon the public, haa obtained a facsimile of our bottle, and copied our label of directions verbatim, substituting his own name for that of Henry Wistar, M. D. which is found upon the genuine.

Remember, the outside label or wrapper of the genuine Balsam is a finely executed steel plate engraving bearing the signature of Henry Wistar, M. D., and Sandfordand &. Park—none other can be genuine.

The Eighth Wonder of the World. Many who have witnessed the extraordinary cures effected by the genuine Wistar's Balsam of Wild Cherry, seem to regard it as the eighth wonder of the world. "Why." saythfty, "the Wild Cherry Bark and the Island Moss, (the two chief ingredients of this wondeiful compound.) have been preacribed thro'out time immemorial by the best physicians—but never before have cures so extraordinary been performed."

The reason is obvious. The proprietors of Wistar's Balsam of Wild Cherry do not claim for their compound any far fetched, mysterious, miraculous power. They have openly acknowledged the Him pie nature of its elements, and only claim for their great and invaluable discovery the exclusive secret of fcrTHAT JUDICIOUS COMBINATION of ingredients which PO to make up this richest of curative compounds.JC8

The most skillful and scientific phyaicians now prescribe this medicine in their practice, while neglect of doctor's of little practice and mean contracted minds, although they do all their churlish spirits can do to injure this—the people's favorite

renicdy—they

acknowledge its innocent qualities. HAPtxjmEt.n, N. J., April, 1843. On or about the 13th of October. 1841, I was ta ken with a violent pain in my side, near the liver, which continued for about five days, and was followed by the breaking of an ulcer or an abscess which relieved the p«in a little, but caused me to throw up a great quantity of offensive matter, and alao much blo6d. The Arabs from their wand** ing mode of life, are often affictqd with distressing diseases, and alao subject to accidents of u»» most severs kind consequently tbey wo^id require a» external application of groat virtue to effect a curt/. Aiken's mills, near Peoria, March 1, 1847. [Read the following extraordinary cure ot a spinal affection and loss of use of the limbs.l

Mr. H. G. FARRELL Please send me by tha bearer another dollar bottle of your Arabian Liniment, which will be enough, 1 think, to complete'^i ly cure my dear child. I nave often thought that I would eit down and furnish you with sn account, of my poor child's situation, so that you might make it public, and thus be the cause of as much benefit to some others of my fellow beings as it. haa been to me. She laid for six months without, the slightest power or control of her limbs whatever, and suffered the most agonizing pain tha greater portion of the time. Even her neck waa perfectly stiff, and so painful that she could not' bear to nave her head moved in the least. Thua was she for six months, during all which time wo had to carry her about on a chair when Bhe wished

to change her place. We had three of the best physicians in tne whole country attending her. out they could do her no good. Finally, one of them (the last to give her up) said he could do no more for her. and uiatjhas 1 wished to get your Liniment, I could do so, adding that he knew it waa good, and might help her. I got it accordingly* and she began to recover after a few applications* She can now use al! of her limbs freely, and can walk tolerably well. We are now applying it over the spine, which the doctors say is the seat ot the disease, and we expect one bottle more to curat' her as well as ever she was. We have used it alao for sprains, bruises, bums snd cuts, with like sue-' cess. Hoping that this great remedy will be spread* over the whole country.^lamjroura

Two most extraordinary cures I must mention in particular. I got op very early one morning, and on looking into my pasture discovered my favorite horse limp and dragging a rail after him. On going up close to him, to my amaaement and horror, tha •»1 rail was sticking in his stomach, between tha flanks, to the depth of eight inches, and so tightly that it took three hard pulls to extricate it after.'? which the poor animat suffered the utmost agony I never dreamed of his recovery, and supposed that no human hand could save him. Thewell^ known virtues of your Liniment flashed on my,." mind, and it was immediately applied. By tha next day I had the gratification of witneasing tha commencement of Ills recovery, and in six aaya thereafter I rode him to Peoria, as sound as ever, and would not take $150 for him now, TM^,*' other case was this. One of my men got his leg in the teeth of a thrashing machine, and it WM only by a miracle that he was not instantly killed. His leg was horribly mutilated, though no bones were broken.
