HADDONHSTJ), N. J., April, 1843.

On or about the 13th of October, 1841,1 was taken with a violent pain in my side, near the liver, which continued for about five daya, and was followed by the breaking of an ulcer or an abscess which relieved the pain a little, but caused me to throw up a great quantity of offensive matter, and also much blood. Being greatly alarmed at this, I applied to a phyaician but he replied that he thought he could do but little for me, except give me some mercury pills, which I refused to take, feeling satisfied that they could do no good. Many other remedies were then procured by my wife and friends, but none did me any good and the dis charge of blood and corruption still continued every few days, and at last became so offensive that 1 could scarcely breathe. I was also seized with a violent cough, which at times canaed me to raiae more blood than I had done before and my disease continued in this way, still growing worse, until February, when all thoughts of my recovery was given up, and my friends all thought I would die of a galloping consumption. At this moment, when my life was apparently drawing near it* cloae, I heard of Dr. Wiatar's Balsam of Wild Cherry, and got a bottle, which relieved me immediately and by the uae of only three bottles of this medicine, all my pain were removed my cough and spitting of blood and corruption entirely stopped, and in a few weeks my health was restored, so as to enable roe to work at my trade, (which is a carpenter,) and up to this time I have enjoyed good health.

I Would recommend it with the greatest confidence to all who have homes. They should always have it on hand, so that it could be applied immediately in case of accident, and thereby save the life of many a valuable horse I have used it in the very worst casea of sweeney with entire success also splint, sprains, bruises, galls, wounds, sore eyes, (Stc. Two most extraordinary cures I must mention in particular. I got up very early sue morning, and on looking into my pasture discovered my favorite horse limp inj and dragging a rail after him. On going up close to him, to my amazement and horror, tha rail was sticking in his stomach, betwoen tha nanka, to the depth of eight inches, and so tightly i'1 i°°k three hard pulls to extricate it after which the poor animal Buffered the utmoat agony. I never dreamed of hie recovery, and supposed that no human hand could Bave him. The well known virtues of your Liniment flashed on my mind, and it waa immediately applied. By the next day I had the gratification of witnessing the commencement of nis recovery, and in six aaya thereafter I rode him to Peoria, as sound aaever, and would not take $150 for him now. The other case was t^is. One of my merv got his lag in the teeth of a thrashing machine, and it was only by a miracle that he was not instantly killed. His leg waa horribly mutilated, though no bone8 were broken. Your Liniment wns-rt^plied, and in five days he went to work again.: He fully be* lieves that but for your Liniment he would neve* have recovered. Mr. ty. G. FAKRU-L: Please send me by the bearer another dollar bottle of your Arabian Lini ment, which will be enough, 1 think, to completely cure my dear child. Inave often, thought that 1 would sit down nnd furnish you with an account of my poor child's situation, so that you plight make it public, and thus lie thq cause of as much benefit to some otheraofmy fellow beings as it has been tome. She laid for six months without the slightest power or control of her limbs whatever,' and suffered the most agonizing pain the greater portion of the time. Even her neck waa erfectly stiff, and so painful that she could not ear to have her head moved in the least. Thus was she for six months, during all which time wo had to carry her about on a chair when she wished to change her place. We had three of the befast physicians in tno whole country attending her, but they could do her no good. Finally, one of them (the last to give her up)'said he could do np., more for her. and that, a* I wished to get your Lin* iment, I could do ao, adding that he Knew it wal good, and might help her. I got it accordingly, and she began to recover after a few applications. She can now use all of her limbs freely, and can walk tolerably Well. We are now applying it over the spine, which the doctors say is the seat of the disease, and we expect one bottle more to cure her as well aaever she was. We have used it also for sprain*, bruises, burns and Cuts, with like success. Hoping that thisgreat remedy will be spread over the whole country. I am yours truly,
