"WISTAR'S BALSAM OK WILD CfflERRY.—Thegreatsuccessattending the use of this Balsam in Pulmonary diseases, having naturally attracted the attention of physicians, and others, various opinions and surmises have arisen with regard to ita component parts, some have supposed it to contain Iodine, others mercury, &c., and to such substances they attribute its extraordinary efficacy. Such opinions being entirely erroneous, and calculated to prejudice many persons against the medicine, we pledge ourselves that it contains nothing of the kind, or any tiling the least injurious, on the contrary, it is composed principally of extracts from the MOSS of ICELAND, WILD CHERRY, and the PINE of our Northern latitudes.

STOVE WAREHOUSE.
^pHE subscribers have on hand the largest 'and best selected stock of
of the beet materia!, ever offered in this market. The stove to which we invite most especial attention is the jiuttly celebrated KKSOR DOUBLE OVEN COOK STOVE. Which is decidedly superior to any stove ever invented. Why? Because the heat nas the shortest apace to both oven and the whole width of the stove at once around the ovens: and will bake at once and equal in both, and by having two distinct and separate ovens in the same stove, different articles can be baked at the same time which could not be done in a single oven which tends to great economy in fuel, and at the game time all other culinary operations can be performed as well aa on any other stove. Those in want of such an article would do well to call and examine prices and quality, before sending to a distance for an inferior article.
We have, also, the

1843.
On or about the 13th day of October,
1841,1
was
taken with a violent pain in the side, near the liver, which continued for about five days, and was followed by the breaking out of an ulcer or an abcess, which relieved the pain a little caused me to throw up a great quantity of offenbut sive matter, and also much blood. Being greatly alarmed at this,
applied to a physician but lie
replied that he thought he could do but for me, except give me some mercury pills, little
I
I
refused to take, feeling satisfied that they could no good. Many other remedies were then procurdo ed by my wife and friends, but none did me any good and the discharge of blood and corruption still continued every few days, and at last became so offensive that
could scarcely breathe.
was
also seized with a violent cough, which at times caused me to raise more blood than
I
had
before and my disease continued in this way, done still growing worse, until February, when all hope of my recovery was given up, and my all thought
would die of a gallopping consumpfriends
tion. At this moment, when my life was rently drawing its close,
heard of Dr.appa-Wis
I
Balsamofnear Wiiji Cherry and got a bottle, which relieved me immediately and by the use of only three bottles of this medicine, all my pains were removed my cough and spitting of blood and corruption entirely stopped, and in a few weeks my health was restored, so as to enable mo to work at my trade,
