CORYDOM, Ind. Jan. 28, 184ft.

It is no less a duty than a pleasure to state, for* the benefit of the afflicted, that I consider WISTAR'S^ BALSAM OK WILD CHERRY a great blessing to the human race. Having tried it in a case of severe affliction of the Lungs, I unhesitatingly recommend', it to those similarly afflicted, as th6 beat remedy II--: have ever tried, and one .which cured me when* physicians said I must die, and when I thought, myself that my time to depart wus near at hand.

WM. CO£DRON.

On or about the 13th day of October, 1841,1 was taken with a violent pain in tlie si^p, near the liver, which continued for about five days, and was followed by the breaking out of an ulcer or an abcess, which relieved the pain a little but caused me to throw up a great quantity of offensive matter, and also much blood. Being greatly alarmed at this, I applied to a physician but ho replied that he thought he could do but little for me, except give me some mercury pills, which I refused to take, fesling satisfied that they could do no good. Mrtny other remedies were then procured by my wife and friends, but none did me any good nnd the discharge of blood and corruption still continued every few days, and at last became so offensive that I could scarcely breathe. 1 was also seized with a violent rough, which nt times caused me to raise more blood than I had done before and my disease continued this way, still1 growing worse, until February, when all hope of my recovery was given up, and my friends all thought I Would die of a gal lopping consumption. Al this moment, when niy life was apparently drawing near its close, I heard of Dr. WisTAR'S BALSAM OF WILD CHERRY and got a bottle, af which relieved me immediately and by the use of only three bottles of this medicine, all my pains Were removed my cough and spitting of blood and corruption entirely stopped, and in a few weeks my health was restored, so as to enable me to work my trade, {which is a carpentw,) and up to this time I have enjoyed goood health.
