public will please to observe that no Brandeth's Pills art genuine unless the box ha* three label* upon it, each containing a fac jimile signature of niy hand writing, thus, B. Brandreth. These labels are •ngiaved on steel, beautifully designed, and done at an expense of *everal thousand dollars.
The Brandreth Pills.
Tbe remarkable cures which have been effected by Brandreth'* Pill*, have astonished the whole medical faculty, many of whom have conceded that they are the greatest blessing that ever was given to the world.
Tneieason these celebrated Pills have such a universally good effect, is, because their action harmonizes wit^i the human body.
Whenadoseof Brandreth'n Pills Tare taken, thev are digested, and pass to every part of the system but they leave the body when they have effected the intended purpose, and health and vigor are by them insured.
Mineral medicines may enter the system, but they are with difficulty got out again ar.d they alwayi occasion pain and misery while they remain in the hody.
Whereas Rrandreth's Pill* are as innocent as apiece of bread, and are evacuated with the disease for which tbey are taken.
From the time we are born to the time we cease to breathe, ocr hodies are constantly wasting, and as constantly buildingup. The action of the atmosphere wears or wastes them. The food we eat the digestive organ* convert into blood, which renews or builds up by its circulating power. Thus the human body is healthy when the blood circulate* freely, and when anything prevents its free course through the vain*, disease commences.
Remember the top, the side, and tbe bottom. The following are the only authorized person* to act as agent*—JAMES WARDLOW. Williatmtown.— JACOB D. KARLY. Terre-Haute. E. DOLE, Otter Creek, P.O. McCULLOCK & CONKfcY, Clinton. DANIEL DAVISON, Newport. JAMES ANNON. Eugene. Oct. 20, 1841. 6 6m.

Fortunately forsuffering humanity, the discovery of this medicine, has struck from the catalogue of diseas* es, the terrors of the most horrible malsdy that has ever withered the hopes of man.
It is an Indian remedy, that was discovered in tbe year 1836. Dr. FALL having resided for twelve years tbe neighborhood of the Creek Indians, and having been surprised st tl.e wonderful fact, that nets single case of consumption had ever been known to take place among them, was induced to believe that they must be in possession of some cure tor this most distressing of sll diseases. After much exertion, for a term of more than three years, spent at intervals among these children of the forest, receipt for this disease was obtained and its life preserving principles are now offered through the mediupi of thia medicine, to alt mankind. For a proof of the fact that all the Indian tribes of tbe American continent possess knowledge of this remedy, it is only necesssry to re* mark that there is not one single instance on record, or evens traditonal account among them, of any In* dian ever having died of consumption. It is purely vegetable composition, and one of the most innocent medicines in the world, and like all other article of medicine used by the Indian tribes, it is simple in its composition. .... ..
DIRECTIONS,
Persons afflicted with consumption, must take half a tea spoonful three or four times per dsy, with the addition of a tea spoonful jast before going to bed st night. Patientssmicted with this dreadful disease be using it ss above directed two or three months, wil find themselves entirely elesr of the pain in tbe breast, and free from tbe congh, that accompanies the consumption.
It is, slso. tbe best medicine in ose, for persons who are troubled with spitting of blood, and night hack* ing coughs, pain in the Breast, See., which when let ran on for months, so frequently terminate in consumption. Two or three bottles will, in all eases, relieve the patient, and restore the health entirely, it will entirely relieve tbe patient from tbe night coughs which are so distressing, in a few hoars from tbe tim it is first taken.
Taken in doses of a tea spooofnl at bed time, itwill relieve the man inveterate colds aad asthma. i"i ,, Forflal# by

discovery^will undoubtedly confer upon the human family the greatest blessings that the inventive genius and labors of men have ever bi stowed upon suffering humanity in any ageof the world. Untill this remedy was discovered, the consumption had been considered as thecertajn destroyer of a large portion of the human race. Seizing the youtb, tbe middle aged, and the old, indiscriminately, and plunging them into an untimely grave. Who has not hefeld with sorrow, the blooming girl, and tbe young man, who but a few monsbe before, promised to make brnamenls to society and the world, nipped, as it were, in the bud, and consigned to the world of spirits, juat as tbey were appearing upon the stage of action!
