THE COUNTERFEITER'S DEATH BLOW.

THE

public will please to observe that no Braadeth Pills art genuine unlets the box ha* three label* upon it, each containing a fac simile signature of my hand writing, thus, B. Brandreth. These labels are enginved on steel, beautifully designed, and done at an expense of several thousand dollars.

The Brandreth rills,s

The remarkable cures which have been effected by Brandreth's Pills, have astonished the whole medicnl faculty, many of whom have conceded that they are the greatest blessing that ever was given to the world.

The reason these celebrated Pills nave such a univer. sally good effect, is, because their action harmonises with the human body.

When a dose of Brandreth's Pills are taken, thevare digested, and pass to every part of the system but they lenve the body when they have effected the intend ed purpose, and health and vigor are by theni insured.

Mineral medicines may enter the system, but they are with difficulty got out again ar.d they always oc casion pain and misery while they remain in the body.

Whereas Brandreth's Pill* are as innocent as a piece of bread, and are evacuated with the disease for which they are taken.

From the time we are born to the time we cease to breathe, ocrllbdies are constantly wasting, and as con stantly building up. The action of the simoaphere weatrs or wastes them. The food we eat the digestive organ* convert into blood, which renews or builds up bv iu circulating power. Thus the human body is healthy when theolood circulates freely, and when anything prevents its free course through the vain*, disease commences.

Remember the top, the side, and the bottom. The following are the only authorised persons to act as agents—JAMES WARDLOW. Williamstown.JACfOB D. EARLY.Terre-Haute. E. DOLE, Ott«r Creek, P.O. McCULLOCK & CON KEY, Clinton. DANIEL DAVISON, Newport. JAMES ANNON, Eugene. Oct. 20, 1841. 8 6m

•jlEVER AND AGUE—TO MY FRIENDS IN JT THE WEST, and particularly those wlio have used the lifs mkdicikks in treatment of fXVER AMD AOCE.

It is but a very short timesince these Medicines have been introduced into the levre and Ague Districts, and the proprietor flatters himself thst during that period, whereverthey have been used according to the directions, they have done more towards exterminating the disesse than all other remedies and prescriptions combined. It is a common excuse among "regula prsctitioners" when specifics are introduced, that they cannot cure diseases which people are in the habit of considering incurable. Medical experience is constinually doing away a part of the list of the incurable diseases, and Mr. Moffat has the happiness of confidently announcing that FEVER AND AGUE is now to be added to the number of complaints which modern skill has conquered.

In Fever and Ague the Ltva medicikks not only give quicker relief than any other remedy, but if persevered in, effect a febmamkut cca» sc that if the patient is only ordinarily careful, and reiorts directly to his medicine upon the first symptom of tendency to a newattnek, it may slwaysbe wsrdde off. To escape one chill would be ol infinitely more consequence to the sufferer than the vabie of the remedy—to remove the disease permanently would confer a benefit upon him which cannot be estimated by any earthly standard. That these Medicines will effect what is here claimed for them, the Proprietor has the testimony of all acquainted with them and their application and use' in the Fever snd Ague and his object in trow addressing his friends at the West is torequeat them that tbey will spare ncl^pains in communicating their experience, and disseminating this highly interesting information, now that rt»e season for Fever and Ague has arrived.

It is not for the mere purpose of disf6sfng%f a few hundred packages of the Life Medicines, that the proprietor makes this appeal. The demand for his Mcdicines ia already greater than he can conveniently supply and even were it insufficient to-sfford Tiim busioess, he would conceive himself supremely setftsh, if his pleasure wss not greiter at the benefit conferred upon the suffering part of, the community by an increase in bis sates, thsn st his own pecuniary profit.

The Life Medicines, if properly«n»d and severed in, recommend themselves still it is neo*sary that the public should know t)iat such medicines exist, and hence the propriety of advertising them. It is hoped, therefore, that the proprietor will not be accused of egotism when ke aaya that there is no medicine or mode of treatment extant, for fesrer and ague, so appropriate, tfiofongh and positive in its happy effects as MOFFAT'S LIFE PIJLL'S AND PHOENIX BITTERS.
