Being aware also that thousands neglect medical aid from an idea that tbeii cases are remediless, or from repeated trials with no better effect than an increase of disease, & an extravagant bill—He therefore mentions a few of the diseases which he proposes to remedy or make no charges for his attention aod services, viz Asthma or phthisic, sies, general and local, nervous or peiiodical headache, consumption iu its insipient stage*, acute and chronic rheumatism, salt rheum, goitre or swelled neck, pancreatic and other tumours, dyspepsia, varicose veins, ordiseasedaction of the vein* of the lower extremities, accompanied with pain and swelling of the limb, indurations of the spleen or ague cakes,indolent ulcers, Arc.
