In addition to the more common diseases of Our country, bis attention has been partitvlarly directed to chronic difficulties And complaints, generally •opposed to be incurable, and from his experience, believes there are hjit few diseases which do not admit of cure, or at least of being so trreatIy mitigated that the patient may enjoy a comfortable degree of health, instead of laboring nnder disease and pain. Being aware also that thousands neglect medical aid from an idea that tbeir cases are remediless, or from repeated trials with no better effect than an increase of disease, & an extravagant bill—He therefore mentions a few of the diseases *bich he propo* ses to remedy or make no charges for his attention and services, viz: Asthma or phthisic, dropsies, general and local, nervous or periodical headacbe, consumption iu its insipient stages, acute and chronic rheumatism, salt rheum, goitre or swelled neck, pancreatic and other tumoors, dyspepsia, varicose veins, or diseased action of the veins of the lower extremities, accompanied with pain and swelling of the limb, iodurations of the spleen or ague cakes, indolent ulcers, &c. Indiana Farmer

AND AGRICULTURAL REGISTER.

WORK devoted cxclasively to the great object of promoting the cause of Western Agriculture, taking a general view of the present condition and future prospects of the farming interest, is at this time and in this country, a matter of much importance. Indiana, from her 1 cal situation, from the fertility of her soil, must look to agriculture as the great source of her wealth. Indeed, in almost auycouutry.it is the farming interest which sustains and upholds commerce, gives employment to the mechanic, and adds to the wealth and prosperity of the merchant. It is a science which ennnot be too well understood,or too much investigated The improvement of the stock, and general cultivation at the land, is a matter of much more importance to the practicable farmer than the establishment of National or State banks. The st'il of Indiana, under the direction of the enterprising farmer, affords a bank where bills will never be protested, and whose vaults will be constantly replenished.

ROBERTSON administrator .of Da

vid Robertson, deceased, this day filed his petition praying for a settlement of said estate, as an insolvent estate: Whereupon it is ordered that unless the creditors of said estate notify the said administrator of the existence and extent of their respective claims, by filing the same, or a statement of the nature, description and date of the contract or assumpsit upon which the same may be founded, in tbe Office of the Clerk of this Court, previous to the final distribution of -the assetts of said estate, the same will be postponed in favor of tbe claims of the more diligent creditors aud it is ordered that a copy of this order be published in the W abash Courier, six weeks successively.
