years, but a vast amount of suffering from Head Ache, Colds and Coughs, Ivheuinn'isin, Dyspep sia, Piles, Liver Complaint, U'oims, Female Complaints, Fevers, ic, has been relieved by these miUl and pUuaant Pills. Their operation is both general and sptciri, and combining a valuable Tunic in connection with their I'urutive, Diurel'c, Sudurific and Expectorant principles, they produce a phusant and natural evacuation of the bowels, restore the tone and activity of the liver and digestive organs, thus efi'ectini; sl I that is desired in the cure of disease. These Pill.-, are an immediate cure for Diurfntu and Ihtenltry,- if taken in season, two or three at a time. They base never failed to cuie a cold ot cnuh when within the reach of medicine. We know a lady in New York that had oOO houles of ouh remedies (a:l uf which have more or less Laudanum or Pai aoric in them, which soothes '.he cousjh f r a few minutes, but weakens the constitution, and leaves the coujh worse.) which finally weakened her o that she died. A lady in IJoston. has been taking these cough remedies in the form of liquids, for near ten yea:s, every winter when the cough sets in, and she was continually growing worse, until they brought on Dyspepsia and Piles. When the cough came 011 the past winter, she tried these Pills. After taking - l- boxes, lu r cough was entirely g,one, and her other complaints disappeared, while her strength was fast recovering. She never expects to be free from the injury of the liquid mixtures. These liquid mixtures all contain more or less of opium, which oucht never to be us-ed except in extreme ca-es, and only then given by well informed doctors. The Chinese deserve great credit for resisting by force of arms, '.he obtrusiveness-of the English in compelling them to use this deleterious drug. We onlv add a few certificates, and we hope those afflicted and their friends will peruse them carefully. Froiaa a esejihew ol' tlie Iit .TiMlfjfc T!ioiaspoii. Dr. Smith's -Improved Indian Vegetable Pills' have proven invaluable to myself and family, in the cure of violent hea i-ache, pain in the side and stomach. After much peisuation, he prevailed on me to take one box of Doctor Smith's SS31, Coated Indian Vegetable Pills, saying if they did not help me, he would have to give me up.
