Mr. Ewing presented a petition, accompanied by a bill, for the relief of Peter I'ot.cet; the rules being suspended, passed a third reading. Mr. Ewing introduced a resolution calling upon the Treasurer of State, to report to the Senate a list of the names and places of residence of the defaulters in the several trust funds, and also the amount of each defalcation; which was amen led, on motion of Mr. Morgan of II., requiring that the report should embrace such information, relative to the subject, as will not be contained in the regular annual report.
