The eont native power of the pigeon's crop has puzzled all natnrallists. Some were shot not long since in Germany, with live coals in their crops, which they must have picked up on thVday befo e in Florida, at the fires kindled by the Indians. The fact proves not only the emJu.ing power of the pigeon's crop, but the rapid flight of that bud. FuUic Ledgtr. ?tl.MI TREATY. A note from the Indian Agant to the editors of tiie Logansport Herald, states that a Treaty has been concluded with the Miami Indians and ratified by tiie Senate, by which about two hundred and twenty thousand acres of land have been ceded to the United Statr. The lands ceded commence at a point on the south sidd of the Wabash Kivcr, opposite Logansport, and extend about Feven miles up the river, and thirty-four or five miles in a southern direction. Thes& lands will be rapidly bought up for cultivation, as soon as they are brought into market. The details of tho Treaty are known only by a few. Perhaps we will notice the particulars when we shall hae learned what they are. I.ogemsnort Tib zrimh.
