harbor about his or her house, snail upon conviction thereof before the President, foifcit and pay
a fine of two dollars, and one dollar for each successive day he or she may suffer the same to harbor about his or her bouse. Sec. 2. That every person owning anv doir or
permitting the same to habor about his or her house, shall have a cood and substantial collar of
leather, tin or brass, put around the neck of the same with the initials of the owner's name upon
it, and each and every person who may permit
anv dog to harbor about his or her house without a collar as aforesaid, shall upon conviction thereof before the President, be fined in any sum not ex
ceeding three dollars.
Pec. 3. The Marshall shall kill or cause to
be killed all dogs running at large in the Borough without a collar as aforesaid, and report to the
President the owners of the same if they can be ascertained, and also all violations of this ordinance, and on complaint of any individual, that there are more does than one about the premises of any
inhabitant of this Borough.shall kill or cause to be
killed all but one, and shall from time to time be allowed for the services aforesaid such compensation as the Board may deem just and reason

AN ORDINANCE RELATIVE TO EFFECTING A LOAN FOR THE VSK OF THE DOROl'Oll OF VINCEXNES. Sec. 1. Be it ordained by the President and Trustees of the Borough of I'incennes, That the President of said Hor-

tain a loan for the use ol the Borough on the best terms he can, for an interest not exceeding the usual banking interest of the State of Indiana, to an amount not exceeding; five thousand dollars. Sec. 2. The said loan to be procured on bonds of live hundred dollars each, to be signed by the President under the seal of the Horouffh, and attested by the Clerk,
said bonds to be payable in live years with six per cent, interest, to be paid annually in advance, and redeemable at pleasure after one vear.
Sec. 3. Said bonds to be used as the money shall be required for draining the Commons or improving the Borough thereto belonging, and when obtained, to be
placed by the lender, immediately to the credit of" the Treasurer of said IJorough. Sec. 4. That the faith of the Borough, the funds arising from the sale of the Commons, and all other sources of revenue, are hereby irrevocably pledged for the payment of the principal and interest of said loan so authorized, as above to be effected.
