A stage sleigh with three passengers arrived in town one evening of list week, and made the regular turn at the Eagle, and stopped when it w as discovered that no driver had been on the box for the last five miles. During this route, the horses moved with considerable rapidity, passed several teams, and went thro' Alain street before reaching the Eagle, with uncommon speed. The county Seminary building which was originally erected for the Stuto University has been procured by the Trustees of the Acadeiny, in pursuance of the charter, and repaired for that purpose. The Hoard of Trustees, from the money they have ex pended and the great exertions they have used in establishing this institution, as well as from great inducements offered by it, hope to secure a liberal patronage. Students from abroad can be accommodat ed with boarding in private families on reasonable terms. There will be 4 terms or sessions in a year of 1 1 weeks each The 1st. to commence on the 1st Wednesday in October. 2d on the last Wed ncsdav in December. 3d on the 3d Wed nesday in March. 4lh on the 2d Wed nesday in June. The present session will continue live weeks and be considered two filths of a term and be charged for accordingly, be tween which and the winter session, there will be a vacation of 3 days. Female students will not be admitted till a separate department is created for them, which the Board contemplate doing as soon as tlicy can make suitable arrange ments.
