It produ I ces a yarn far superior iu smoothness and strength to that produced by hand spinning; and the saving, it is said, would be fifty pel cent, but it appears that the operatives m the ropewalks at Brooklyn, N V. has prevented this machine from heing introduced to uBe; and the inventor is about repairing to Russia, to introduce it into that country, uuder the patronage of the emperor.
