Offerings and demand about evenly balanced throughout the week. Prices practically unchanged. Demand almost entirely local in most markets. Quoted in Chicago No. 1 timothy $22, No. 1 alfalfa $23, No. 1 prairie $lB. Feed. —Market slightly improved except for linseed meal for which demand continues poor. Yearlings up 50c-75c. April 25 prices good grade meats: beef sl7-18; veal $lB-20; lamb s2l-24; mutton sls- - light pork loins $26-28; heavy loins sl7-23. | Grain.—Market weak at open-| ing but subsequent strength in cash corn, reports of damage from freeze in Southwest, good export demand and light country offerings caused a price advance that continued until the 25th. On the 25th future wheat prices dropped about five cents due to lack of support despite forecast of freezing temperatures in Southwest, strength stock market and decrease visible supplies wheat and corn. Germany and Italy reported seeking new and old crop wheat. Milling demand slow, cash premiums somewhat lower. In Chicago cash market No. 2 red winter wheat $1,344, No. 2 hard sl36|, No. 3 mixed corn 58|c, No. 3 yellow 58|c, No. 3 white oats 37c.
