Mrs. Eugene Holloway spent a day in Elkhart last week. Mrs. JeEry Hamman has been on the sick list the past week. Emory Druckamiller returned Tuesday from Garrett. Mr. and Mrs. Oscal Craft of Warsaw spent Thanksgiving day here. Harry Whetsell left Sunday morning for Dickson, 111., where he will be employed. John Mench has moved his household goods into a residence in southwest Pearl street. Mrs. H. W. Buchholz and son Ernest were in Chicago last Wednesday. Mrs. Nancy Nine left last Thursday morning for Ada, Okla., where she will spent the winter. Mrs. Benj. Vorhis and son Birch spent Thanksgiving in Goshen with her son Clifford. Mr. and Mrs. Mart Long spent Sunday with William Coy and family. Mrs. Jane Kern is spending two weeks in Elkhart visiting her daughter and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. V4m. Darr were Sunday guests at the Lincoln Martin home at Milford. Fieldon Sharp and family spent Thanksgiving in Milford with relatives. Mrs. Emma Ophelia Guy of Leesburg is spending a few days of this week with her niece, Mrs. Jane Jones. Most of the teachers who live out of town spent their Thanksgiving vacation at their homes. Miss Packer, whose home is in Pennsylvania, spent her vacation with Miss Butler at New Paris.

S. 0. Jeffries and family spent I Thanksgiving at the Jecob Kern home. Mrs. Russell Evans of Detroit spent the week end visiting Miss Goldie Mathews. Forest Kern has stored his household goods and is staying at the Wm. Tom home. Mrs. Joseph Meek of Leesburg spent Thanksgiving with her daughter, Mrs. Melvin Tully. Henry Mathews and daughter Miss Goldie, spent Sunday Sun-; day with Robert Vail of New Paris. Clee Younce and family of. Elkhart spent the week end at’ the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Younce. Editor Preston H. Miles spent from Friday until Tuesday at Continental, Ohio, visiting at the N. C. Shirley home. A gang of men are at work rpairing the sink hole ni the road between Milford and the junction. This has been an expensive olace to keep repaired for a good ( many years; but it is thought the problem has been solved by the methods being used this time. |
