LAKE REGION TO BENEFIT BY NEW THEATRE BLOCK The opening of the Long Theatre Block in Syracuse the latter part of April will officially mark the beginning of what is forecast as one of the greatest booms this community I has ever experienced. I As workmen steadily speed through their daily work in an effort to have Indianas’ newest business block finished on time, other plans for broadening community activities are under way. Expect Greater Prosperity. Under the leadership of Mr. W. E. Long, founder and buildei - of this new Indiana enterprise, it is expected that a transition will take place in bringing greater prosperity to the city of Syracuse than has been en joyed in its one hundred years of existence. ■Following the leadership of Mr. Long', merchants of Syracuse and surrounding territory are anticipating that the summer season of tyS/l will be one of the biggest years in the vacation history of this region, io Fave Modern Shops. The new Long building block will contain a very modern motion picture theatre in addition to up-to-the-minute stores, shops and offices. The theatre will be completely airconditioned and will provide every known comfort and convenience for its patrons, such as are enjoyed in the motion picture palaces of the larger cities. According to advance information, the stores in the Long theatre block will carry merchandise that is a.s modern and up-to-date in quality and style as the merchandise offered in the markets of New York, Chicago, and other large cities. The stores in the new block will also hold a great fascination for the' women, as they will offer to their feminine trade the latest Styles in wearing apparel and accessories.
