COUNTY STUDENTS ACTIVE AT INDIANA Bloomington, Ind. May 7—Twenty nine Kosciusko county students attending Indiana university this semester joined with the university’s 50,000 living alumni and. former students Wednesday in celebrating the 116th anniversary of the institution's founding. Dr. Lotus D. Coffman, former Salem, Ind., boy, now president of the University of Minnesota, and one of the 68 I. V. men who have become college presidents, was the principal speaker. District meetings were held, in 20 Indiana cities and in various out-of-state cities from New York to Seattle. Physical development of the state university was a keynote of the Founder's Day celebration this year. The University opened in one small, brick building with the boys in attendance. Today, the plant has grown to 49 buildings at Bloomington, Indianapolis, and Winona Lake with four new buildings now under way and a fifth authorized to provide for a 22.4 percent increase in enrollment during the past two years.
