Miss Evans was a college chum of Miss Blanchard’s. Miss Blanche Sprague who has been living with her sister, Mrs. Agnew ,of Omaha, Neb., for some time past has been quite ill and is in the St. Katherine hospital, at Omaha. The Epworth League Institute has been in full swing this week at North Webster. About 2200 young people are registered. This institute is now the largest of its kind in the world.

Miss Ruth Blanchard and Miss Helen Evans, of Walton, Indiana, spent Thursday in Elkhart with a former friend and room-mate; Miss Alice Hostetler. The occasion was planned in honor of the approaching marriage of Miss Hostetler. Mrs. V. L. Pierce and little son i Bobbie of Oklahoma City, spent I the week with Mr. and Mrs Harry Mann. Mrs. Mann and son Jackie are returning to Oklahama with them for an indefinite; i stay. She will visit her father [and two brothers. E. A.
