In New Yo r k 186 cities and towns and 118 in New Jersey have adopted daylight saving, Massachusetts; Rhode Island and California will have state-wide laws this year and the railroads are issuing new schedules. Mrs. Frank Maloy returned to her home Friday evening after nearly three weeks at the bedside of her mother, Mrs Charley Grove. Mrs. Crist Darr spent Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Darr of near Goshen. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Darr and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dietrick of Goshen, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bushong, were Sunday visitors at the Artie Geyer home, Mrs. Amanda Hoover of near New Salem spent a few days at the home of her sister, Mrs. James Myers. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ryman and son of near Concord, spent Sunday at the home of Elmer Dewart. Oscar Graff has made some noted improvements by adding a front porch to his house, SOUTH SIDE Mr. and Mrs. Don Ward of Chicago motored to Syracuse Friday of last week to visit his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Evans. Mrs. D. Warbel spent Sunday in the Charley Rentfrow home. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Cornnpgn, of west of Milfprd, visited in the home of his wife’s parents last Saturday. s Mrs. Winsor was a Monday evening caller at the Warbel home. The Jimmie Mjck children are having the whooping cough at this time, ! Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wagner visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Wagner, Sunday. Mrs. Edna Cripe of Goshen called on her aunt, Mrs. John Evans, Saturday. Francis Laughlin has mumps at this writing. Mrs. Millard Laughlin visited in the home of Mrs. Warbel Friafternoon of last week. Mr. and Brown and children and Mr. and Mrs. W. HRay and children visited the parents of Mr. Ray at Garrett Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Cory attended the funeral of their cousin, Harold Germe, at Garrett Tuesday. Mrs. W. H. Ray and Mrs. Vern Brown were Goshen shoppers Tuesday forenoon.
