At the noon hour a bountiful dinner was spread on the tables on the lawn. In the afternoon a fine program was appreciated by all. FOUR CORNERS Mrs. Howard. McSweeny called at the Crist Darr home Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Crist Darr spent Tuesday evening with Earl Darr and family near Goshen. The preaching time is changed Sunday because of • children’s meeting at Burr Oak Sunday eve. The children of John C. Juday gathered at his home Sunday for d'nner and attended Memorial services in the afternoon. On account of ill health Mr. Juday has been unable to live at his home but stays with his children. Mr. and Mrs. Charley Nellens, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Thomas and son of Mishawaka, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Drake of South Bend took dinner Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Juday and attended the memorial servises in the afternoon. The Memorial services were largely attended Sunday afternoon. It has been estimated that nearly a thousand people were there. Only about one-third of the people could get in the church to hear the splendid address given by Hon. A. E. Martin of South Bend. The good music given by the county band and orchestra under the leadership of Mr. Stark of Goshen was greatly appreciated by all present. o “Fast Side.
