G—The federal pr’-ole board has recommended that Warren T. McCray, former governor of Indiana, sentenced to the Atlanta peniterrtary for ten years, be paroled in August when he becomes eligible for that clemency. Attorney General Sargent said he had received the recommendation and would take it under immediate consideration. McCray was sentenced to the penitentiary in 1923 for using the mails in furtherance of scheme to defraud in connection with his obtaining loans on cattle paper.
