Other affairs of moment were disposed of in- order of business before adjournment. A stranger got a ride to Syracus witty an old time resident and found out that there were no honest men residing on the South Shore. Be a booster; it doesn’t cost any more and you will be thought more of. The gentleman from Martinsville, who had gold fish for bait and gold dollars for his guide, failed to take advantage of his golden opportunity. Kismet! Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Charles were guests at the Conrad cottage last week. Walter Weaver was a visitor in Warsaw last week Fresh fish fresh mushrooms, rhubarb, asparagrass, spring onions, fresh horse-radish and dandelion greens now gladen the heart of the housewife in her daily battle to serve a square meal for her liege lord and master. There seems to have been a change either in the character of ‘the fishermen of today or his methods of fishing. We notice all the bait now used around here has white ribbons attached. Some of the residents along this shore who have installed electricity and subscribed SSO toward the building of the line in addition to the cost of wiring their homes are objecting to paying for a meter. Many residents who did not subscribe, for one reason or another, desire to know what disposition will be made of an application for lights now. The Light & Power Company could furnish this information through this column of the Journal. The Misses Goldie Brakes and Helen Miller of Goshen and Messrs Jacob Sheets, James McDonald of Ligonier, formed a week-end party at the home of Miss Meriam Weaver.
