Edw. Ditton Married From Warsaw comes tTie announcement that Edward Ditton, proprietor of the Ditton Hotel at Wawasee, and Mrs. Minnie J. Miller of Syracuse, were married at the office of the county clerk, Tuesday morning. Rev. Henry Bennett preforming the ceremony in the presence of several friends of the bride and groom. Postmaster-Elect Dies F. M. Kercher of Garrett, who was to have taken the postofflce on January Ist, died at Garrett last week.

MRS. W. R. M’GARVEY DEAR EXPIRED AT VAWTER PARK HOTEL WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON Mrs. Minnie McGarvey, 49 years of age and wife of Dr. W. R. Me- j Garvey, died Wednesday of last ! week at her home at Vawter Park hotel, Lake Wawasee, where she was taken sick with typhoid fever four weeks ago. The remains were taken to Goshen Thursday and taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Alford, parents of the deceased, where funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Saturday, Rev. Fr. Scofield, rector of St. James Episcopal church officiating. Burial in Oak Ridge cemetery. Born in Elkhart countv, southwest of Goshen, Mrs. spent practically her entire life there. For several years with her husband she had conducted Vawter Park hotel at Lake Wawasee and in this venture they were very successful. About a week ago Mrs. McGarvey’s condition became so critical ft was evident the disease would be fatal. Surviving are her husband, one son, Carl, her parents and one brother, Frank M. Alford of Goshen. The deceased was very v.ell known at Syracuse and Lake Wawasee where the Vawter Park hotel is patronized by many people. She had a large circle of friends who will mourn her death. Leaves Ligonier Charles A. Cook, who had the Ligonier Banner, has moved to Corunna. Eddie O’Connor, formerly of Goshen, is in charge of the Banner. —May Day Coffee at Kindig & Co.
