Anna, left Monday, for Colorado, to spend the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Wilmot Jones will occupy the hotc during the winter months. —Auctioneer Stuckman sold the joloman Strycker farm, Oct. 3, ii just 28 minutes from the time he took the block, for the handsome sum of $14,400, cash upon delivery of the deed. The court had tried for more than two years to sell this place aud had offered it much lowe: than it sold at auction Mr. Stuck man thinks that the auction method is going to be a popular way to handle realestate in the future.

Harman Clause and family of near Richville, were guests at the Riddle home Sunday. F. M. Ott, John Riddle, Jno. F and W. E. Moore were in War saw,Thursday forenoon on business. Russel Stewart and. Howard Nicholas visited their cousin, Mrs. Omar Darr and family over Sunday. —The Hydraulic cider mill will grind Tuesday and Thursday, of each week. J. F. Weybright, Mrs. Claud Niles and daughter, were the guests of Wm. Sheffield and family, Sunday. Daniel Linkfelt, of Kansas, came last week to spend a few months with friends here. Geo. Juday, who has» been quite sick for the past week, is slowly improcing. Ed. Baringer was called to Milford last Sunday evening to see his sister Mrs. Louise Bechner, who is very ill. ' B. F. Juday and wife of Solomon’s Creek and Wm. Long and wife of Millersburg visited Geo. Juday, Sunday. Mrs. Owen Sulcer and children, of Missouri, came to spend a few months with her mother, Mrs. Win Traster, and other friends. Mr. Adam Fleck who is third trick operator at Leland left Tuesday foi Sherwood, Ohio, for a three weeks visit with his mother. John Auer and family, of Leasburg. Mrs. Jess Strieby, of Gravel Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Darr of this place, took dinner with Jess Darr and family, Sunday. Violet Wilda came to make her home with Mr. and Mrs. Chas.
