Green and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Widner spent the Fourth at Winona. Mr. and Mrs. George Ecker of Ligonier spent Sunday at the home of Mr. W. T. Watts. A party of fourteen from Goshen College picniced at Butter Milk Point last Thursday. Miss Elvah Pearson and Mary Cory spent Sunday with Mrs. Cleo Jones at Jones Landing. Mrs. Newman returned to her home in Kalamazoo, Mich., after a week’s visit with Justice Kitson and family. Latest reports from Mrs. Sol Mullen are that she is doing fine and will be home next week. Wogerman was badly bitten, by a dog on the Ketring farm where he was working. Rev. L. J. Smith and the Knights of Luther of Goshen, are camping on the north side of Lake Syrasuse for a couple of weeks. Mrs. C. Grissom returned to her home in South Chicago after attending the funeral of her sister-in-law Mrs. Shirty. A hew line of straw hats, (sun shades) hand-made and hand-pain-ted by Mexican Indians.
