THE AUSTIN, PMMTASTfIOPHE Dispatches from Austin, Pa., Oct. 2, estimate the loss of life in that town from the breaking of the dam above the town on Saturday last, to be 150 persons. State officials in charge of the situation, after a hasty canvass of the population, expressed the belief that the above igures would cover the death loss, A-hile Chief of Police D. E. Baker, believes that fully 300 are dead or missing. The survivors will not suffer from hunger or lack of care, as the supplies and medical assistance rushed to the scene seem ample. An urgent plea for workmen to aid in the recovery of the bodies buried in the debris, has been sent o the mayors of Buffalo, Pittsburg and Philadelphia. The property loss will exceed $6,000,000, and it is the general opinion thatthe town never will be rebuilt. Two, at least, of the large plants will not be reconstructed and a majority of the business houses of the place have been financially ruined. iDied of Heart Failure. SIOO Reward, SIOO The rerders of this paper will be pleased to learn that there is at least one dreaded disease that science has been able to cure in all its stages, and that is Catarrh. Hall’s Catarrh Cure is the only positive cure now known to the medical fraternity. Catarrh being a Constitutional disease, requires a constitutional treatment. Hall’s Catarrh Cure is taken internally, acting directly upon the blood and mucus surfaces of the system, thereby destroying the foundation of the disease, and giving the patient strength by building up the constitution and assisting nature in doing its work. The proprietors have so much faith in its curative powers that they offer One Hnndred Dollars for any case that it fails to cure. Send for list of testimonials. Address: F. J.
