| Local and Personal | Henry Sloan was in Goshen Wednesday. Frank Green was home over Thanksgiving. Have you seen the new Pianos at Beckman’s store? Mrs. Abe Brower and Mrs. J. H. Miller are on the sick list. Thomas Epert spent a few days at Bremen the first of the week. Three of Roy Riddle’s children have been sick with the chicken pox. Received last week, a complete line of Sewing Machines, at Beckman’s. Mrs. Yohe has been at the home of Orange Richhart since the death of his wife, Mrs. C. I. Bender and sons, Arthur and Lewis, were at Garrett several days last week. Mrs. F. L. Hoch and daughter, Gertrude, and Miss Wetzel were at Goshen Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Flowers of Ligonier were the guests of Sol Lung and wife Thursday. Miss Betty Younce who has been at Milford for several weeks came home Saturday. Norman Taylor of Chicago was the guest of C. M. Gordy and family over Thanksgiving. , A new line of Persian silk for ladies waists, also Tafettas and Foulards. A. W. Strieby. Mrs. Michael Rookstool and Mrs. Albert Rink were the guests of Pat Ritter and family Thursday. Mrs. Irvan Treesh and daughters, Pauline and Genevieve, visited with their-relatives here last week. Mr. and Mrs. Lepper of Warsaw were the guests of their son, S. C. Lepper, and family Thanksgiving. Melvin Niles came home from South Bend to visit his parents, Bert Niles and wife, Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. Kyler and two children of Goshen visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Smith over Thanksgiving. Mrs. J. A. Hire and Mrs. John Mench and son are spending the week with John Weaver and family near Leesburg. Frank Swihart and wife moved from the country Monday into the Bushong property beside the Mrs. George Darr property. The Misses Mary and Ruth Miles went to Indianapolis to visit their parents. Church, at North Webster this year, beginning yesterday and holding over today. The interests of the farm are being discussed by able speakers. There has been more than eight hundred hunting licenses issued this year in this county. The name of Ivy Runyan of Syracuse stirred the curiosity of a visitor to the clerk’s office Tuesday morning while looking through the stubs of the hunting license record, as to whether this individual was a male or female. The inquirer noted that the person’s weight was given as 162 pounds and decided that Ivy is a man. The Youth’s Companion in 1911. There will be a meeting at. the Church of God tomorrow afternoon at two o’clock and the subject of Divine Healing will be gone into thoroughly.
