Cider mills will not do a thriving business this fall. (Nor this fall. —Editor Journal.) School will commence next Monday. A good lawyer could no doubt build up a good practice in this place. Henry Strieby talks of coming to town and engaging in business in the spring. Our boys have had to work early and late in attempting to catch up on job work. We still have several jobs ahead. We have thought qf labeling them, not exactly ,“sic sempre tyrannis," but? “thus perish'all who invade our sanctun i with hostile intent.” Mr. Mil ton W-oods informs us that he intends to put urp an addition to the Lake House in the Spring, and making other improvements hi the hotel" property.
