TGoodness! call out the W. C. T. U). and a special session of the legigllatue. They are putting on the market a tablet answering the same purpose as three fingers of corn whiskey, also a beer tablet will, when dropped into a glass of water make a real beer. This plan is said to “beat” all prohibition laws. What is to be done? It seems like as long as men remain in the prer ent form of humanity, there is a class that will find a way to mix a little alcohol with their anatomy.

Man Burns In The Fire Last Week. A deep mystery.
RAYL/TOWN
Mr.Tom Hawkins was pleasently sur prised last Monday night by a number o his fiiends.
“After the ruins cooled down sufficient, an investigation in the ashes revealed the charred remains of a man. An inquest has not been held yet and the body is lying at Dr 0 Kenthngs office awaiting someone to claim it. There is no clue as to who the bodj' represented or is there anyone in this vicinity missing and no one was seen to enter the building, but what came out again, and just how anyone could have been burned without someone ‘knowing it until afterwards is a mystery. There were several strangers in town the night before and it is thought that someone might have got into the hall and secluded himself in one of the lodge apartments and w r ent to sleep and was burned up before he could get out. If there is a man that is missing any place, it might be well to look the matter up. He has the appearance of being a strongly built man and must have been a foreigner, as his color has a resemblance of iron. ”
