Reunion 31st Ind. Volunteers.
Silas Grimes and Henry Dillman, went to Terre Haute, Wednesday, to attend a reunion of the 31st Indiana volunteers. Mr. Grimes and Mr. Dillman make it a point to go every year to attend these reunions, and say that nothing gives them more pleasure than to meet their old comrades again, with whom they stood side by side amid many a storm of shot and shell. When one begins to think of the genuineness of the situation, there is nothing more pathetic, or serious than a mans experiences when serving a duty for his country. A few more years and the old soldiers will all be gone. There being only five left in this precinct, Silas Grimes, ForisSylvester, Henry Crafton, Mike Wampler and James Sexton.
