Miller Bros., 101 Ranch Wild West Show, recruited entirely from the great 101 Ranch, at Bliss, Okla., will appear in Bloomington, Wednesday, Sept. 2, giving two preforrnances and inaugurating the day with a big free street parade and free show on the grounds. Many residents of this vicinity will take advantage of the opportunity to see the famous amusement institution. Rev. Clark, of Bloomington, who has been pastor of the Christian church therefor the past to a town in Illinois,' and will preach his farewell sermon, Sunday. Rev. Clark’s leaving is greatly regretted by all who knew him.

The Old Soldiers Annual Reunion will be held at Chapel Hill, Sept. 4th. and 5th. Speaking by Judge Wilson, Kdwin Corr, Hon. R. W. Miers and other prominent speakers. There will be plenty of amusment and refresments on the ground. The music will probably be furnished by the Smithville band.
K. K. Me Ferren, the well known Vaudette man, of Bloomington, is going to Open up a law partnership with Joe Barclay. Their office will probably be located in the Allen building.
While the other papers are busy calling each other liars and thieves, about which is the best man, Bryan or Taft, the News is saying nothing, but sawing wood and giving the latest news.

Our barber, Homer Utterback and wife, have gone on a two weeks vacation, with home ifolks in Bedford. Claud Day, of Bedford, and who run a shop here last year, is running the shop during Utterbacks absence.
The Indiana State Fair, opening Sept. 7th to 11th, promises’to be one of the largest in the states history. $40,000 in premiums is to be given away and some i ecord breaking races will be made. Two fine bands will be on the grounds giving concerts day and night.
