Some Electric Railway Prospects. The future importance of the Burns Electric Railway system is beginning to reveal itself by the preliminary construction of other similar systems with which'it will connect. It has been .definitely settled that the Burns will eveniqally reach froih Goshen to South Rend, and from ’Goshen to • some point on Wawasee Lake. thence it has been said, there will be connections made for Ft. Wayne It appears fi railway is being constructed from Ft. Wayne to Columbia City. ’ Another one is being suiveyied from Huntington to Ligonier, ’ passing through Columbia City. The proposed rbuie through Noble coun- ! ty is within five or six miles of Wawasee lake, and that is the point where iin all probability, the Burns system will connect with it. The three systems will tap a number of pleasant iinland lake?, where summer resorts wiH be established. The Burns system will boast of Christiana Lake, near Elkhart, and Wawasee Lake at Syracuse. Xhe Huntington-Ligonier 1 system will have Shriner Lake, and I ths Ft.
